Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria, age limit, experience, and qualification for each position are given below:
Chief Executive Officer (CEO):
- Master's degree or equivalent in engineering, business administration, finance, or any other relevant field from a recognized university
- 20 years of experience in the power sector, including 10 years in senior management positions
- Proven track record of leadership, strategic planning, and financial management
- Age limit: 62 years
Chief Financial Officer (CFO):
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants or master's degree or equivalent in finance or any other relevant field from a recognized university
- 15 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- Sound knowledge of financial accounting, auditing, taxation, budgeting, and corporate governance
- Age limit: 55 years
Chief Internal Auditor (CIA):
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants or master's degree or equivalent in finance or any other relevant field from a recognized university
- 12 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- Strong understanding of internal audit standards, risk management, and compliance
- Age limit: 55 years
Company Secretary:
- Member of a recognized body of corporate or chartered secretaries or master's degree or equivalent in law or any other relevant field from a recognized university
- 10 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- Thorough knowledge of corporate laws, regulations, and best practices
- Age limit: 55 years
Director General (HR & Admin):
- Master's degree or equivalent in human resource management, public administration, or any other relevant field from a recognized university
- 15 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Age limit: 55 years
Director General (Operations):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering from a recognized university
- 15 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- Extensive knowledge of power distribution operations, maintenance, and customer services
- Age limit: 55 years
Director General (Technical):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering from a recognized university
- 15 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- In-depth knowledge of power transmission and distribution systems, planning, design, and construction
- Age limit: 55 years
Director General (Finance):
- Member of a recognized body of professional accountants or master's degree or equivalent in finance or any other relevant field from a recognized university
- 15 years of experience in the power sector, including 5 years in senior management positions
- Expert knowledge of financial management, analysis, reporting, and forecasting
- Age limit: 55 years
How to Apply Online?
Candidates who meet the criteria can apply online through the STS website www.sts.net.pk. The application deadline is June 8, 2023. The candidates will have to pay a test fee of Rs.1000/- for each position in any branch of ABL, MCB, or HBL.
Selection Process
The candidates who qualify for the test will be called for an interview by SEPCO. The candidates will have to bring their original documents and certificates at the time of the interview. The candidates who are already working in government or semi-government organizations will have to provide a NOC from their employer.
